Here Comes the Bride….

Well, the day has finally arrived:

Thankfully, we’ve been spared all of the drama of having to plan this wedding, as Rachel and Matt have done everything (including paying for it!).  All we have to do is show up:

Tonight, Paul will walk Rachel down the aisle, and officially hand her off to Matt.

And he will shed a tear or two, because his little girl is going to be beautiful.

She has asked him to give a speech at the reception – he has promised that it will NOT be anything like this:

She also wants him to dance with her at the reception – he HATES dancing! Thankfully, he is not quite this bad:

Since the reception is at the same hotel as the ceremony, we will not be able to send the new couple off in style, nor will we be able to decorate the car:

Oh, well.

When it’s all over, we will raise our glasses to the new couple, and send them on their merry way.:

Then, we will do what all parents of the bride do when they have a hotel room all to themselves:

Congratulations, Rachel and Matt!
