Tuesday Wednesday Tunes: Storm Comin’

Storm Cloud

*Since yesterday was my Grandmother’s birthday, “Tuesday” Tunes has been moved to Wednesday this week*

We’ll close out the month of April with another song about stormy weather – here in Texas, we’re heading into the turbulent season – “May flowers” around here have to be pretty darn tough to ride out some of our storms! This song always helps to lift my mood – it reminds me that while none of us can hide from whatever may come, we will never be alone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=-2roZ-1sPMM The name of the song is “Storm Comin'” by The Wailin’ Jennys. I had never heard of this talented trio, but in looking for a song that I had heard, I found myself once again skipping through the Internet….. Somehow, I landed on their doorstep, and got drawn in by their sweet melodies (and yes, I have already purchased a few more tunes to add to my ever-expanding library….). This song is available on CD or MP3 (the album has some fantastic songs on it!).
