    Can’t think of the “Ides of March” without thinking of the Iron Maiden song.

    But Caesar’s assassination should be a warning to those who wish to restore liberty: Liberty does not spontaneously arise by taking out its enemies; the people and the culture must be conducive towards it if one wants to avoid going from bad to worse.
