The spam is getting waaaaaaayyy too smart….

I got the following comment for approval on my blog, but I have my doubts that it’s a “real” comment.  Judging from the e-mail address, those OccupyWallStreet kids have some really, really smart spam:

Comment: Kids? You really haven’t been paying attention. I am a 60 year old grandmother, employed full-time, and I spend every free minute I have supporting Occupy Wall Street, in person or through other means along with many other mature working adults. Why? Because, like you, I am the 99%.

How many 60-year-old grandmothers call themselves “gurlzone”?

(Yeah, the comment went bye-bye…..)

    I think my gran would have been appalled at spelling “girl” in such a way. Her sensibilities would have been so offended, she would have beaten the perpetrator with a hamhock.

    1. Yeah – my paternal grandmother had read the complete works of William Shakespeare by the time she was 12, and she grew up dirt poor…..

      “Gurl” would never have been in her vocabulary (and she would have had a thing or two to say about these kids at OWS as well!)
