Can you go a Christmas season without hearing “Blue Christmas” at least once? I say you cannot! This is one of those songs that grows on you over the years.

I found this video that features some eye candy for both guys and gals, with an unexpected surprise around 1:20 – a quick picture of a sad-looking puppy, who just happens to belong to a blog buddy of mine, Dave in Texas. That’s his trusty friend, Moses – the picture is one of those “right time, right place” shots (and it’s one of the first images that pops up when you do a search for “sad puppy”):

I hesitated to post this video, as I didn’t think people would want to see the “same thing” twice, but I ran across this video of Elvis performing his signature Christmas hit in an intimate setting, and it was such a joy to see him enjoying himself that I had to share it with you:
