Christmas is a little more than a week away, and I’m sure that nerves are getting a little frazzled. So today, I thought I’d play some music with a sophisticated, “grown-up” feel to it – the kind you might hear at a swanky nightclub or that you might play after you’ve put the kids to bed. Just pretend it’s nighttime, kick back, and relax….
To start off the evening, you can’t get better than Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby pouring themselves some Christmas cheer and singing a swinging version of “Jingle Bells”:
.
.
You folks are in for a real treat tonight – next up, we have the cosmopolitan sounds of Michael Buble and his version of “Let It Snow”. Enjoy!
.
.
Pour yourself a drink, put another log on the fire, cuddle up with your sweetie, and listen as Dean Martin sings “The Christmas Blues”:
.
.
Here’s Tony Bennett’s oh-so-smooth version of “White Christmas”:
.
.
Let’s see if Rod Stewart can convince Dolly Parton to stay just a little while longer, ’cause “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”:
.
.
And finally, the hilarious Fay McKay and her drunk rendition of “The 12 Daze of Christmas”:
.
.
Have a nice evening, everyone – try to stay warm….
