I have to admit, the first time I heard this song, I thought it was a release from Peter, Paul, and Mary – the Barenaked Ladies are joined by Sarah McLachlan to do an upbeat version of “God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen” (with a little bit of “We Three Kings” thrown in, just to keep things interesting):
