They’ve created a monster…..

Not my real mother....

My 72-year-old mother just learned how to use the font and color settings on her e-mail – there’s going to be no stopping her now……

Here’s what she sent me today:

*********************************************************************************

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

HOPE THAT TODAY IS WONDERFUL FOR YOU.  I CAN STILL CLEARLY REMEMBER 51 YEARS AGO LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY – YOUR DAD AND I WERE SO HAPPY, PROUD, AND SCARED.  WE WERE BOTH SCARED, BECAUSE WE DIDN’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT TAKING CARE OF A BABY.  THANK GOODNESS FOR YOUR GRANNY ******** – SHE CERTAINLY SAVED ME FROM A LOT OF MISTAKES, AND SHE BONDED SOMEWHAT WITH YOU AND WITH ME.  YOU AND PAUL WERE A LOT CALMER WITH RACHEL – OF COURSE, YOU WERE OLDER THAN I WAS- WHICH PROBABLY HELPED.

ANYHOW, I HOPE THAT YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.

DAD AND I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH.

MOM

(This was my first trial with color – I like it.)

*********************************************************************************

My God, man – do you people know what you’ve done?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Also not my real mother (but there were times....)
